Had a great weekend going around the community collecting signatures for my petition. Met a lot of great people who truly seem to be interested in setting a course for our county. Thanks to all who took time out of their busy weekend to spend a few minutes chatting with me about myself, some of the core campaign issues, and most importantly, their thoughts and concerns. Several people challenged me with a few questions before they would sign my petition, but once I answered their questions, each person signed their name. It was encouraging to me that some of the issues I am running on seem to be very well received so far. I now have enough signatures to turn in my petition for certification, and owe a huge thank you to everyone I have seen the last two days!
